This is it guys, the last ever Sactown Speedfest!! Bittersweet news but we've got to make this last one count! The fifth edition of this event, featuring some insane, literally historic bands! I truly hope to see everyone there because I will be very sad, and probably in debt lol if y'all don't come, but let me tell you a little bit more about the show & bands playing!

It is all ages, sick huge and chill venue right off Del Paso Blvd, lightrail accessible. There'll be bar drinks for sale for those w/ ID, there will be all kinds of vendors and distros, fast tunes all night.

IRON LUNG

I lowkey shouldn't even have to hype them up for y'all, but I know some young heads could maybe not be familiar with the magnitude of Iron fuckin' Lung.

Formed back in 1999 not too far from us (916), in Reno NV, a truly original Power Violence iconic band. They are fast, loud, incredibly pissed, hard fuckin' core. They are also the one behind the amazing Iron Lung Records who continuously puts out some craziest material out there. Back to Iron Lung, there is no words to express how hard they go, it is just simply an experience you have to live.

LAUGHING DOG

OG Grindcore from New Mexico, est. 1991
For the true grindhead connoisseurs. This band is a total delight, very underground and there is not a lot of material uploaded online, but everything out there are total masterpieces. This band has been active on and off throughout the years, and I am incredibly pumped to see them in Sacramento. If you like sick bands like Plutocracy, you are going to absolutely love this one. Not enough words to describe the greatness of Laughing fuckin' Dog!

From fuckin' France!! Grinding since 1998!!
This one is for the grindheads, if you like it fast, gory, loud, this is for you. Absolutely killer band, OGs, truly excited for their arrival to America and beyond stoked they are coming to Sacramento. They got an insane amount of splits and albums to check out, and let me tell you, they are all absolutely killer. This is for fans of some real ass grindcore, goregrind, and even brutal death metal. It is not very often that we get the chance to have such a sick international act like this come to our town. If you like bands like: Sulfuric Cautery, Haggus, Dead Infection, Archagathus, Last Days of Humanity, etc. you will like this band very much... Come support them in their trip!!

TRUCIDO

Texas heaviest. As simple as that. 

What is not simple is describing how insane they are, like god damn, seeing them will make any musician doubt themselves, pure grind, pure precision with insane blasts and mind-blowing riffs. 
Formed in 2011, featuring members of Cognizant, Real Life Ugly, as well as the insane drumming legend Bryan Fajardo. Be ready cause they'll blow your mind. They will be playing day 2 (Nov 2nd).

GODSTOMPER

Sunnyvale Power Violence since 1991
The OGs of Northern California. Slap A Ham Records band. One of the very few remaining ones from the original Power Violence movement back in the 90s. Insanely sick and loud bass and drum, there is no words to describe them, another band that you must experience to get why they are so legendary. Bring some earplugs and be prepared because they are LOUD! Don't miss the chance to see a true power violence original. They will be playing Day 1 (November 1st).

HUMAN EFFLUENCE

Pure fuckin' grindcore. This is one of the bands that shows why West Coast is best coast. Face melting blasts and insane riffs, pure precision at insane speeds. Not enough words to explain how sick they are, but there is a reason to why they are so popular and a delight to have in your town, if you are into some real ass blasting grindcore, this is definitely for you.
